Dr Huw Edwards – Consultant

Dr Edwards is a specialist radiologist with expertise in all aspects of General, Musculoskeletal, and Sports imaging diagnosis (Ultrasound, CT, MRI, X-ray & Nuclear medicine) and intervention (injections and biopsies).

Dr Edwards completed his medical training from the University of London and went onto train in trauma and orthopaedics, which included working at the renouned Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London. He completed his radiology training in South Wales where he specialised in General, Musculoskeletal and Sports imaging.

He is a full time NHS consultant at Swansea Bay University Health Board. Dr Edwards has a keen interest in research with published work in peer-reviewed journals and written chapters in medical textbooks.

Dr Edwards is a keen educator and involved in training radiology registrars.
